It was a night to see and be seen as Gen Art féted its alumni at a poolside party at the Roosevelt Hotel. The chic Hollywood hotspot was the perfect place to kick off L.A. Fashion Week. The "Fashion Alumni Celebration" was created to honor Gen Art's alumni who have shaped and influenced the Los Angeles design community. And truth be told Gen Art has played a large role in helping launch many a designer's career. Each designer attended the March 16 event accompanied by a model who wore a signature look from their Fall 2010 collection. It was hard to catch sight of all those in attendance with the crowded poolside scene, but I managed to snap a few pics. Designers included Rami Kashou, Geren Ford's Geren Lockhart, Jeffrey Sebelia, Elmer Ave.'s Jonny Day and Colin Pulsipher, Endovanera's David Michael Hershberger, Erik Hart, Jared Gold, Freddie Rojas, Kit Scarbo, Society For Rational Dress' Corinne Grassini, Wren's Melissa Coker, Orthodox's Eric Niccoli, Eduardo Lucero and Brigid Catiis' Raissa Gerona.
Here is a look at the evening's festivities.
