Native American style takes an avant garde turn in this portraiture inspired shoot featured exclusively on VeryVeryChic. Here is a look at what happens when four artists decide to collabrate. Hair stylist Troy Peppin and makeup artist Cory Bauer conceptualized the shoot and created feather hair pieces and makeup based on Native American tribal looks. Originally we planned to focus on accessories for the styling, but I found some incredible clothing that transformed the shoot into Native American couture complete with jewelry, feathers and plenty of fringe. The shoot came together when Ben Cope captured our model Nina with a subtly somber mood to reflect the look of authentic Native American portraiture. I hope you enjoy the result!!
