Vanessa Bruno had a poetic take on Fall 2011. The designer sent a Russian-themed collection of peasant dresses, smocks, chunky knits and fur-trimmed coats down the runway during Paris Fashion Week. The collection had a modern '70s bohemian feel with its slouchy beanies, suede bags and clog boots. I got swept in the romance with Bruno's slouchy but chic silhouettes, flared pants and exquisite textures that somehow merged together in beautiful multi-layered combinations. It was a collection that balanced chic sophistication with an ease of wearability. Am I a fan? Indeed.
