The Best Supporting Actress nominee has been making major fashion statments throughout award season and this dress is one of her best choices. Nyong'o said she chose the light blue color as she grew up in her home country surrounded by blue. Combined with the deep plunging neckline and the pleated full silhouette, the gown is a standout on the red carpet. I am also a fan of Cate Blanchett's Armani gown, Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen, Jennifer Lawrence in Dior and Kate Hudson in her knock out white Atelier Versace gown.
