Recently, I wrote the feature story for the American Gem Trade Association's Prism magazine. Writing this story gave me the incredible opportunity to interview some of the most renowned jewelers in the U.S. today. Think Paula Crevoshay, LJD Jewelry Designs, Naomi Sarna, Katey Brunini and Dallas Prince. And stylist Sarah Shirley weighed in on current trends in the fine jewelry for 2016.

When I was asked to style the talent on Carrie Underwood's "SMOKE BREAK," video, I knew it was an incredible opportunity. And now... it has won the CMT Female Music Video of the Year!! I was honored to be selected by Director Randee St. Nicholas to style the video and work with Carrie's glam squad: Francesca Tolot, makeup; Emma Trask, stylist; and Lorenzo Martin, hair. I styled the business man, waitress, welder, horse trainer and truck driver and oversaw the bar scene. To create the look I pulled from a variety of places including designers, costume houses and vintage and retail stores. The result was country cool, modern and if I dare say, VeryVeryChic!
