When I was asked to style the talent on Carrie Underwood's "SMOKE BREAK," video, I knew it was an incredible opportunity. And now... it has won the CMT Female Music Video of the Year!! I was honored to be selected by Director Randee St. Nicholas to style the video and work with Carrie's glam squad: Francesca Tolot, makeup; Emma Trask, stylist; and Lorenzo Martin, hair. I styled the business man, waitress, welder, horse trainer and truck driver and oversaw the bar scene. To create the look I pulled from a variety of places including designers, costume houses and vintage and retail stores. The result was country cool, modern and if I dare say, VeryVeryChic!
